About me
My name is Hanna Ellis, founder & owner of Gently Unbound Yoga & Esthetics. I am a current 200 HR student to complete my yoga training, as well as an esthetics student at the Lorain County JVS. In addition, I am a certified health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
I have a passion for creating space for people to become unbound: their most authentic self, through a gentle approach. I currently teach yoga classes in person as well as online, and am working diligently to host more events and workshops throughout Northeast Ohio. By the end of 2025, I will be providing esthetic services and intend to integrate somatic work into my esthetics practice.
It would be an honor to me to hold space for you, on or off the mat. If there’s any questions or concerns I can help you with, I am simply a message away! Please don’t hesitate to ask.

Amazing! I want to support you through your journey and help you cultivate your own personal practice. All of my classes/workshops are beginner friendly. I always provide an intro to props, verbiage to expect to hear, and leave space to answer any questions. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible to truly enjoy your first class, and come back!

The green bottle method is a scale that allows me to welcome participants regardless of their current financial state. This scale is “pay what you can” but really broken down into, where are you at currently with your finances to be able to pay for things outside of your basic needs? So, I offer a suggested price of what I would consider a “fair price” for my yoga class/workshop/event, and you can either pay that price, a lower one, or a higher one! Or you can not pay me at all; because I don’t believe yoga should be gatekept due to financial inability to participate. No questions asked. When you pay higher than the suggested amount, you are allowing me to make more space for lower income folks to join and I am still paid a livable wage for my labor.

YES! In fact, I have zero tolerance for transphobia, homophobia, racism, antisemitism, zionism, ableism and being an unkind person in any and all of my spaces. I have no problem addressing any situation that may make you uncomfortable. My goal is to have an incredibly safe space for all of those who choose to participate.

Great question! Ensuring my classes and events are as accessible as possible is a top priority to me. I do my best to ensure that disabled and neurodivergent folks are accommodated to the best of my ability. I do not currently own any of the spaces I utilize, but I try to ensure they are spaces friendly to mobility aids and sensory friendly. In my yoga classes, I offer variations to postures to make them more accessible for all bodies. I care greatly about continually improving this for my clients & students, so please if you see somewhere I can do better; tell me!

I graduate October of 2025, and plan to start seeing clients by November/December of 2025. Likely, I will be a facialist who specializes in facial massage. I believe that facial massage is incredibly powerful, especially as a migraine sufferer myself. I am committed to learning how to utilize facial massage for migraine relief, promote relaxation and support mood regulation. Ultimately, I plan to integrate yoga & esthetics to create my own wellness center with additional healing practices from other practitioners.
